CHRISTMAS TOURING
In Christmas 2021, Discover DynamiX Theatre Company toured around a range of primary schools, in order to spread the Christmas cheer. Our performance covered a range of topics, including embracing your individuality, which we feel are very important topics for children to learn!

In order to prepare and practise for our Christmas Touring, our acting company hosted workshops in order to test out methods and play with skill.

Some shots from our on going rehearsals and devising. Establishing characters and developing them have been so fun!

As a small Theatre Company, we began this process with no budget. In order to raise money, to give our audiences the best experience, we came up with a rage of ideas. We all donated items in order to run a boot-fair stall, as well as all baked cakes and treats to run a cake stall at our college. We thank everyone for their donations and support throughout this process!

Day 2

TOURING
On Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th December 2021, we toured around two primary schools to spread the important message of diversity and it's importance. We included the use of sign language, as well as each one of our characters having a 'fault.' Our story concluded where our differences were the things that helped us, during the journey that our characters went on. It was amazing to see the smile on children's faces and how they loved our story and characters. It was also amazing to see the impact it had on them, as some children were signing 'thank you' after the performance! This process was a great experience for our company!

In preparation for touring, Make-Up, Costume, Set and Props play a huge role in bringing characters - as well as the story - to life! We'd like to specially thank the Props, Make-Up, Costume and Set department for their hard work on making every actor and location look brilliant!
Jay Jay Alexander - Props Master and Head of Set. Charlie Johnstone - Head of Costume. Becky Braud - Head of Make-up.
